“מיכה בר־עם: קיבוץ” מספר את סיפורם של הקיבוצים ככוח חלוצי בחזית החיים החברתיים והקהילתיים בישראל. עדשתו של בר־עם קולטת את חיי היומיום של חברי הקיבוץ, את כוחו של שיתוף הפעולה, את ערך העבודה ואת לידתה של תרבות. במקביל, צילומיו של בר־עם קולטים את הסימנים המוקדמים לסדקים ולסבכי חיי הקיבוץ, שהובילו בסופו של דבר להתפרקותם

Micha Bar-Am: Kibbutz

“Micha Bar-Am: Kibbutz” recounts the story of the Kibbutzim as a pioneering force at the vanguard of social and communal living in Israel. Bar-Am’s lens captures the everyday life of the kibbutz members, the power of cooperation, the value of labor and a cultural birth. At the same time, Bar-Am’s photographs capture the early signs of rifts and intracacies of kibbutz life that ultimately led to their dissolution.
