The Behavioral City reflects our everyday patterns of action and reveals the relationship between human dynamics and the characteristics of urban space. Behavioral data, including mobility, consumption, and urban function, captures a live picture of the city. This data makes it possible to identify trends and connections between people, places, and services. In a world of information, personal experience and behavior become the key to inclusive planning. Every user makes an impact.
The “Days of COVID” serve as an extreme example of large-scale behavioral change, allowing us to examine how urban life patterns have shifted: how we live, work, and move.
“Exposure” invites visitors to examine their conduct in the city during the pandemic through a new urban map. Based on personal “Corona Diaries” alongside collective trends, the map offers insight into a responsive urbanism that responds to its users and changes in real time.
These behavioral mappings were developed during the “Urban Lounges” workshop by the Tel Aviv–Yafo City Planning Department and the Strategic Planning Unit. The project aims to identify and understand behavioral shifts as primary drivers of urban change.

״חשיפה” מזמינה את המבקרים לבחון את התנהלותם בעיר בתקופת המגפה באמצעות מפה עירונית חדשה, המבוססת על “יומני קורונה” אישיים לצד תופעות ומגמות קולקטיביות. המפה מציעה מבט על עירוניות דינמית המגיבה למשתמשיה ולשינויים המתרחשים בזמן אמת. המיפויים ההתנהגותיים נולדו במסגרת סדנת “סלונים עירוניים” של אגף תכנון העיר בעיריית תל אביב–יפו, בשיתוף היחידה לתכנון אסטרטגי, במטרה לזהות ולהבין תהליכי שינוי התנהגותיים כמחוללים עירוניים
